can anyone please tell me how to remove front crown and pinion from 70's C5 skidder. I broke front pinion shaft of course out in the swamp, but I pulled axles and got it back to shop on rear drive. Now I need to know the procedure on pulling diff out. I see that it is bolted in through the back side but was wondering if there is more to it? I'm sure there is many out there with same problem so don't be shy and please chime in.
