Does anyone have any experience with this machine, its a pretty meaty little machine, looks to be of a similar size to a 977L. But cannot confirm that. Any info please Alex

There's a forum called "case terratrac crawlers" that might be of help to you. I think those units were built in the 60's & possibly closer to 955 size. Only ever seen 3 of them & I have a set of dozer plates to fit one. Jim

My Father owned among other things a old late 60s era CASE 1000D Track Loader with 4in1 bucket and 3 Tyne Rippers, from memory it was about 100hp and weighed around 10te, probably more sized to a 951 ???. When you sat in the seat you had a tower between your legs that had all your travel levers as well as steering from the floor pedals you could counter-rotate the tracks by putting one lever in Fwd and the other in REV... one problem i can remember is that we broke a track-frame ,however it suppose it was repaired/replaced.. It was picked it up in a Government Auction in Melbourne i think it was previously owned by the former "Telecom Australia" it was so long ago 30years now cant remember, it was around for about 5 or so years then a 1150B turned up so were ever it went i can`t say. I will contact my brother he may have some of the old Manuals on it....
