Dozer will crank but has knocking noise it rear of engine or flywheel area, the Dozer will run but will not move the drive shaft will not turn nor will the hydraulics work any clues to my problem?
Flex plates or torque converter. You will be pulling the torque converter either way. They are a fun job.
Looking at 650h lgp nice dozer but it got little over 10,000 how many hour r they good for
Yeah I was figuring it had something in that area, so you would feel confident it's one of those two? Would be anything with crank or camshaft?
Camshaft? Probably not if it runs good. Crank? Possible, if the bolts that hold the flex plates have fallen out.
So open the lil dust cover on the flywheel so could see in the area where the flex plates are, and can see some thin looking plates in assuming there the flex plates that are bent up an mangled up?
