I have a 97 case 1150G dozer, when it's at an idle the hydraulics is very slow. I figured it's the hydraulics pump, but just wondered if there was anything else it could be.
You really should test relief pressure before you replace anything, if it is low see if it responds to an adjustment. There are 2 different types of control valve fitted to the G model - do you know your serial number?
Thanks for replying, how to you test relief pressure; S/N= JJG0218441
According to your serial number this is the valve you have fitted to your machine, correct? Does yours still have the parker QR fitting shown as item #26? You need to attach a gauge of at least a 3000psi to it & test pressures at relief which should be around 2500 - 2600psi at full rpm. There are some orings on the shuttle valves fitted to the rear of each spool segment which should also be inspected & if missing - replaced with CNH part #R31085 kit - these are accessible by removing the operator's seat. ** There is a small shuttle ball bearing (#18) with each valve - DON'T LOSE IT!! **
ok, thanks a bunch, I will check this out and let you know.
Yottzy, note that the part number for the repair kits is R30185 :drinkup
