Case 420 engine to hydraulic pump coupler

Has anyone had experience with changing the u joints coupling the engine to the hydraulic pump? Does the engine have to be removed?

    I looked at my tech manual and it said to remove the u joint from the engine, slide it away from the engine and lift it up and slide it off of the pump shaft. It does not look like the engine has to be moved at all. Let us know how it works out.

    Thanks Tom for the reply. I wondered if that would work but didn't know if there was enough clearance for that to work. Will try that when the machine comes back to the shop.
