Help, Can I use 75W-90 synthetic gear oil in the transaxle? Got the old stuff drained out, smells awful. Thanks
The factory called for Multi-purpose gear lubricant , 80w for below 0 F and 90w for above 0 F. What you have should work, the synthetic is a superior lubricant. I have had the synthetic oils leak a little worse through old seals than the regular oils though.
