Case 480C won’t go into forward. I hadn’t moved it in months and tried to go in fwd and the lever won’t move from reverse. Any ideas?

I topped off the oil in the reservoir by the seat for the shuttle shift. It was low but now nothing. I don't know where to start.

    The dipstick for shuttle is above the starter on right hand side, you check the level with the engine running after it warms up. But you need to check the level before starting it just to see if there is any oil in the shuttle.
