This came up on marketplace. How hard would it be to weld?

    Have seen a Case mini excavator broken similarily welded but company got rid of it for fear it would snap again. I believe it is cast steel but not 100%. Maybe Welder Dave or others will give their thoughts. Simon C

    It is cast and Case says it should not be welded. As a welder, i will say this can be done but in all honesty, I would find one in a boneyard and go in that direction. It shouldn’t be that expensive.
