Hello! Case 580C When pouring the remaining TCH fluid into the power shuttle, should somebody be shifting the shuttle into forward and reverse? Or should shifting be done after all the fluid is in the power shuttle. Thank you, John
The manual calls for switching from forward to reverse to purge all the passages. I just make sure parking brake is set, stabilizers down with back tires off the ground and at idle, shift into forward, then reverse. Check oil with it still running, put into forward and reverse again, check oil level again. Then I shift it into 4th gear and check like normal.
