We were half way through a job today with our Case 580 SL and all hydraulics stopped working. We can not lift the bucket, boom, stabalizers, etc. There is no charge in engine rpm. Just stone dead. Lost of oil in the tank. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have lost all hyd including steering you need to check the main hyd pump and coupler, it hooks to the front crankshaft with 4 bolts (coupler) and the pump shaft slides into it. The machine may have stripped the coupling out or splines stripped on pump or both.
Thanks sheepfoot. I will look at the pump and coupler tomorrow when it stops blowing and snowing. Unfortunately winter is here for the next 6 months.
We pulled the pump and coupler. The splines were shot on both. Thanks for the help.
did you have any success replacing shaft and coupler?
