I have a 1974 Case 580b backhoe with a 35 hoe.I am rebuilding the Cessna stabilizer control valve was able to get the spool rods out (ones that hooked to linkage) but the plugs that are under where the stabilizer hoses hook up on the bottom of the control valve I am afraid that I might mess the threads up on the valve .These plugs screw in and hold a spring, spool, seat, plunger and two o-rings in each one.The plugs have a hold in the middle and have a slot in them for tool and these have four pinged spots around the edge of the plugs.Does anyone know how to get them out without messing them up or the threads ? Thanks for your help.
This is the plug.
