What problem does this relay try to solve? We may have to start another thread.
A 580B should not need a starter relay to cure a problem in the electrical circuit. Sometimes a 3 terminal starter solenoid can be installed to eliminate the solenoid on the starting motor. Even that is a poor way to fix a starting problem. Especially if the 3 terminal solenoid does not have a minimum 500 amp contact rating.
Also curious what you're trying to "bypass" 580C starting circuit is pretty simple. There is a 40amp circuit breaker in the system if that's what you're talking about.
