it looks like there should have been at least a worn out O-ring in this groove but there is nothing, and they are all empty on all 8 sections. i wonder if someone took them out for a reason? it will be about $100 for those 8 O-rings and they are not standard.do you think i could get away with a standard O-ring that is the next closest size?
Buy once, cry once. Those o-rings "were" 50 years old, probably blew through system and wound up in the hyd. filter, if you're lucky. You could probably match them through some other aftermarket supplier, but if you get them from the mother ship they'll be correct. That seems a little pricey, rebuilt the entire control bank on my '76 about 10 years ago and entire collection of OEM o-rings/seals was @$300.
Good Napa auto & truck parts store sell hydraulics may cross refinance the number may have a o'ring kit for that price
