looking for help wiring all cut up trying to rewire alt to battery and cut out switch but when i turn on key switch it starts backhoe don't have to push button but all circuits under dash are dead only one side of solenoid is hot
Good grief Rick ! You been trying to straighten out that wiring mess for 5 years ? The only help I can offer is the service manual with the electrical schematics in it. let me know if you need it.
Trying to restore my wiring back to original in my 1975 580B. Got a new key switch but there is no #6 white wire coming out of my harness to hook up to the Start terminal. The #6 white wire is suppose to go from the start terminal on the key switch to the the intake heater solenoid BUT mine does NOT have an intake heater. Is there another wire that I need to hook up to the start terminal (like a wire to the neg/white post on the starter solenoid) OR will it function like it should with nothing hooked to the ST (start) terminal on the key switch.
