I have a case 580ck and I’m have a problem with transmission fluid pouring out of the starter, I read somewhere that it might of been a starter so I replaced it with a reman one and it still leaks also see it might be the front transmission pump seal is bad so I split the tractor and was wondering how to get the converter torque out to get to the front pump any recommendations is much appreciated.
Power shuttle transmission ? If it is, was the correct starter and gasket installed ?? There is supposed to be oil in the bellhousing. Oil in the bellhousing in 580CKs and 580B's has been discussed before on HEF. Use the search function button on the upper RH side of this webpage and you will be able to read about wet bellhousings.
