Hi, I think the same is happening with my machine. I have a 98 Case 580 L and when working the hoe, it seems to take a few seconds and then it kicks in, like the cylinder is filling up with fluid. the hydraulic tank is full, so I really don't know what the cause of this lag time is. It could be something similar with yours.

Hello Bob, You will need to check the main relief pressure. There is a Parker quick release port on the left side of the machine, between the hydraulic pump & the engine. Sometimes when a main relief valve is playing up it will go off at the correct pressure & the very next pull of the lever, they may be 1000 - 1500psi below. You are looking for about 2600 psi. The valve is attached to the outlet section of the loader control valve. If it is faulty, it is not repairable & will need to be replaced. The new valve should be preset for the correct pressure. :drinkup

thanks again i did hook the gauge on it and it go down to 200 psi ( no i am not missing a 0 its relly 200 ) when the probleme occure and next pull go up to 2500 psi so a new relif valve wil be needed
