This might be a dumb question. Do you have to remove the exhaust manifold to pull the head? Of course all the bolts holding it on at rusted solid. Been trying a little heat and Kroil to loosen them up. Thanks Tom
No should come off but some early models you have to pull water pump to get to a screw behind pump
The E has the CDC ( Cummins) and the water pump is located low on the front of the block, nothing close to the head area.
Thought it was a Case engine
Ha, at least you have bolt heads, mine are long gone. Going to dread the thought of ever taking that exhaust manifold off. Going to be doing a lot of drilling and tapping. Lol
