Case 580se Wiring

Does anybody have a link to a wiring diagram for a 580se without cab? Can't seem to find one on the net. Having electrical issues. Also, does anybody know what the "test" switch is for on the top left of the instrument panel? My switch seems to be broken and I can't figure out what this switch is supposed to control.........

The test switch would illuminate all the warning lights - testing if any light bulbs were blown. Re the wiring diagram they are a little difficult to deal with trying to scan a fold out page, you can download a service manual for a small fee from Trade Bit.

It tests the lights for the Hydraulic pressure switch(at the filter) and air flow switch (above injector pump) These are two lights that you normally see and mine does not have the test switch. I think you push the test switch with the ignition switch on, but not running.

Thanks for the help. Got the manual downloaded and now its time to trace wires. Looks like I need a new test switch as mine doesn't even move. Also need to replace light switches, flasher unit, maybe ign switch, etc., etc., etc............ Anybody have a cheaper alternative to the factory flasher unit? Looks like Case wants around $80. My switch is fine, but the screw that holds the arm is broken off inside the plastic switch itself and I can't retrieve.

Once you find the Case part numbers Google the number and you may find some options. Several places have aftermarket options for some stuff. Ebay etc. reliableaftermarket.com is one that sells big on Ebay. Some electrical stuff you can find at the local auto parts store or a Case dealer.
