Can anyone give me the part number for the coolant temperature sensor for a Case 590 Super N backhoe, SN NEC568731? I have coolant flowing out around the sensor where it screws into the engine. I hope it's just a thread sealant problem, but would like to have a new one before I remove it. Any suggestions on why this would suddenly start happening? Is this common, or a sign of something worse? Thanks for any info.
Seems like temp sensors usually have a copper or aluminum sealing washer, if that split it would leak.
Thanks. I found a part that seems to be the right one, 500382599, and it does in fact have an aluminum washer. Hope that is the problem.
