Working machine hard pushing up a dirt pile in 1st for an hour trans temp gets up to 215. In 4th with foot on the brake how high should trans temp get? Will it overheat in a stall test if you run it long enough? operating temp spec is 174-248.
Hi midnightmoon, With stall Test it will overheat after approx. 30 sec. depending where you start and what ambient etc . After converter 115 degrees C is okay, sump
Sump not more than 90 degrees C for long time.
