I'm new to the forum and I'm working on a case 75xt that wont charge, its got a new alternator and i cleaned the connections on battery, starter and alternator, does anyone have a wiring diagram for the starting/charging system, or any advise? Any and all help will be greatly apprecieated!!!!
With the engine off and the key in the run position you should have power to the terminal were the red wire attaches. Remove the yellow wire and check for positive voltage. Basically the yellow wire comes from the switch in a round about way through a 25 ohm resistor to the alternator to activate the alternator when the engine is started. If you dont have positive voltage at the yellow wire trace the wire into the area under the seat, looks like an old Mopar ballist resistor.
