i believe machine is 1985 case 888 5.9 cummins serial number CGG0015457 customer put new starter, cables, lift pump unit seems to crank slow, suspect hyd pump causing drag. i am unfamiliar with unit and looking for info, is there a load sensing line on pump that a stuck valve could be pressuring causing slow crank. starter gets very hot quick unit has been basterdized, basically every electrical connection has been jumped/ disconnected the cummins should fire as long as there's power to fuel solenoid, getting smoke but need to get it rolling faster. there is a limit switch in the arm rest for lock out hyd, also bastardized. this is where id like to start looking for schimatic to see where it goes, any insight will be appriciated.
Are there any auxiliary attachment on the machine, such as a mower or breaker? Make sure none of the levers are activated keeping the hyd. pump on loading the engine.
