Had to remove transmission to fix a leak on the bottom side of tranny, would like to know proper procedure on how to bleed system to get air out. Seems when we start it back up it wants to walk forward without requesting travel. Do not have a service manual for this unit but would like to buy one if anyone know where available.
Does it have pilot controls or mechanical linkage to the pumps?
it has mechanical linkage. it's either out of center or they have a spring in the top of the pump under the cover where the control rod goes in that keeps it centered and when it breaks it will not stay in neutral and to off in one direction you cannot buy this spring by it self from case only the whole assembly we have made some out of the spring that holds the chisels in a small handheld air hammer
We made some more adjustments and bled some more air out at the 4 ports at the top sides of tranny. Then we made an adjustment to the centering valve which made all the difference, now it seems to work properly. It does have mechanical linkage on it which we had previously unhooked the linkage to verify the handle was not requesting. I think we got it straightened out with adjusting the centering valve, thanks for the reply's. Do you have any suggestions on where I can purchase a service manual for this unit?
