case 95xt counter weight

Anyone know what a counter weight looks like off of a 95xt? I just bought one but i have two massive weights on each rear tower. They go from the top to the bottom. Easy 6 inch thick to 6 in wide. Solid steel.

The counter weight on a 95XT attaches under the machine not on the outside of it. At least OEM style, not to say someone hasn't done something aftermarket.

You are talking about the Dutchman/Caretree stabilizers. They aren't solid steel. They have a hydraulic ram in each tower to lift the rear of the skid loader off the ground, mainly used for digging trees so you can get more down pressure on the tree spade. There are rods that stick out on them so you can hang weights off of them. About 1000lbs total is all they will handle. Stabilizers themselves don't weigh much, 500lbs or alittle more. The factory counterweight, as said above, goes under the belly of the skid loader, when its attached you wouldn't know its there unless you were looking for it.

Hes proabley referring to saddle bags fuel tanks welded to the sides of the towers. Was a update option on the xt's

I have never seen that before. It would probably lift 8k with that set up. I had seen video of the 95XT during development of it lifting 11K with the machine tied down.

I bought it to sell it. But i may keep it. I need to weigh those things though. There a bit heavy for normal skiddy usage
