Case backhoe 580 E

Heavysells · 2025-02-14 22:31

Bought a machine backhoe case 580 E Everything was working out riggers, swing, Dropped it off on my yard came back next morning but now it does swing but doesn’t turn back to its left.could it be a line crossed?? Hydrolic pump does have zipties on lines so it could be possible that they replaced the pump and not work??

was it cold out? Valve in block is frozen. Wait for it to warm up, or take it into a warm building for overnight. if it's working correctly like it did when you got it, you at least have a general direction of things to work toward. this happens on my backhoe - the hoe valve block freezes up when it's 15F or lower and you have to wait about an hour's runtime to use the hoe portion. the loader is fine... I should probably fix that... lol

I’m in Texas so it doesn’t get that cold over her

Check your hydraulic fluid level. How leaky is the machine?

    Doesn’t leak at all

Well if it was working fine, when it came off the trailer, I have a hard time believing that hoses are swapped or reversed. To put this in perspective, everything on the hydraulics worked and now everything works but just doesn’t swing to the left, right? Loader bucket works, up, down, tilt, and everything on the hoe, boom, crowd, dipper and stabilizers and swing right. Just doesn’t swing left. Is the boom lock on? That won’t prevent it from turning.

You found problem with common sense, no oil in tank. Have seen a few times in my life. Will be checking from now on, no doubt. We all learned somewhere. Simon C
