A customer wanted a quote to change the slewing bearing and seals on a case cx130 excavator. It has about 3/8 inch of play☹️. i never actually did this before, can i just change the bearings and spacers and seals? or do i have to change the ring gear as well to get all the play. a big price diference. the ring gear doesnt have any teeth missing that i can see, thru the grease lid. i didnt know if the ball bearing wear into the ring gear or what all to i have to change to elimínate the play
When I worked for Case dealer we would replace the complete swing gear assembly.
Yes they are a unit. I got one off of vendor on eBay for the 120.
Ok thanks thats what i was concluding. From case its like $5,700…thats in the USA. Here it’s almost double that
Get the part number and start searching. You can probably get it from China for half.
