Working on a cx 240 with 5.9 ISB Cummins Machine cranks fine and revs fine with no load. Anytime you use a hydraulic function it bogs down and will shut off. Cleaned entire fuel system replaced lift pump and injection pump. Case dealer said they could not communicate with ECM. its like its not getting a signal to send fuel when under load. I am assuming ECM but would like to be sure
Could the dealer not communicate with the ECM because they didnt have the right software or because the laptop would not link to the ECM?
I know this is an old post but did you ever find the problem? Mine is doing the same thing.
