Should I go for repair of my JCB Ex200 Excavator, as the machine was fired by non social elements, the all rubber and plastic components like hoses and wire loom etc are completely burnt. After repair does it suffer with the poor efficiency kindly reply with logical advice.
Depending on the extent of the fire damage you might be better of to scrap the machine and get a different machine. You will be shocked at the price of the original parts and how fast the total adds up when doing a repair like this. I repaired a John Deere 120C Excavator a few years ago and it ended up being a huge job and very expensive. The engine ended up being damaged internally from continuing to run while the machine was on fire and ingesting the dry chemicals from the fire extinguisher. The company I did this job for would have been better off to have gotten rid of the burn't machine and purchasing something else. They could have purchased another machine of the same age with the same hours for what they spent on parts and labor to fix the fire damage.
Don't forget that there are rubber and plastic components that are not visible from the exterior. The seals inside the valve bodies, pumps, cylinders could all be hardened and damaged if they got hot enough.
Thanks a lot.....
Good day amzadkhanmehar Often purchase costs can be recovered by breaking the machine for used spares, we suggest you take a look at this possibility. Kind regards Uffex
