I have a case tr310 runs fine no codes and bucket tilt fails when things are warmed up unit is eh controls thought maby a failing coil but unit has 2 one for ex and retract the joystick is good was able to swap sides and my problem switched sides
Seems like coil (solenoid) or valve spool heat-related failure, NOT the joystick. Because as swapping joystick sides transfers the problem, this proves joystick electrical signal is fine; the problem is in the valve/solenoid that joystick controls Measure coil resistance cold vs hot (should stay within spec, typically 10-30 ohm. Contamination or wear makes clearances too tight when components expand Warm machine up until tilt fails, then immediately check Voltage at failing coil (should be 12V when commanded) & Coil resistance (if high, coil is bad) Swap the two coils (extend/retract): if problem follows the coil, coil is bad; if it stays with tilt circuit, valve spool issue Feel valve body temp: if one section significantly hotter, internal restriction/binding.
