Case W14 Hydraulic Fluid Question

azrockdepot ยท 2013-11-13 16:29

New here but I hope someone can help me. We have an old Case W14 probably '85. We need to add transmission and hydraulic fluid but are unsure what to use. I can't find it on the internet so thought I would try here. Any info on what we should do would be appreciated. Thank you

You would have better luck getting the information if this was posted in the wheel loader forum. Maybe one of the moderators will move it because double posting the same question in two different forums is not allowed.

Your machine came with TCH fluid from case that can be used in both, trans/converter/hydraulic oil. A good 303 oil, john deere hygard, C-3 converter fluid, and others will work. Do not use a strait hydraulic fluid in the trans.

On some Case wheel loaders they call for case 10w30 engine oil for the transmission and case trans fluid tch for the hydraulics as goofy as that sounds

W18 case loader what type of transmission oil to use

The transmission in the W18 Case loader uses hydraulic oil. Case recommended TCH but you can use a good AW46 oil. Just read the specs on oil container.
