Hello.Back again with another question on my case w 24b.I notice a fair amount of hyd.oil drip around the loader control valve,looks like the main boom and tip spools are leaking about the same and continue to drip when loader is shut down.I was thinking on unhooking the leavers and putting new O rings in but can this be done or would it help or should the complete valve be removed.I dont use the loader often but i just want to keep the major oil leaks minimum.Thanks
It's a little pain but I would slide it out, those seal retainers can be tight and once you replace the spool side it will send the pressure to the detent side and it will start leaking also. Just remember to take the air pressure off the system ( hyd tank) before you crack the lines.
