I'm trying to repack a hydralic cylinder does anyone know if the piston unscrews or do I need a puller to remove it

    I have never worked on this model of machine. Did you take a nut or a bolt off the end of rod? If so it should come off with a little help of rubber mallet.

    You have to remove the set screw and pin from the end of the piston, the piston will screw off the rod then.
