Case850k is blowing engine oil out the fill tube and sucking in turbo at the same time. Why?
Oil seals are out in the turbo letting compressed air escape into the oil pan by way of turbo oil drain tube, and pressure lube oil to the turbo is being fed into the intake side of the engine.
thanks that was my first diagnosis but i replaced the turbo it ran about 3 minutes then started do the same plus pushing oil into intake causing it to run away itself it is possible that the new turbo is defective but unlikely these tier 2 motors are strange creatures
Did you pre lube the new turbo? If you didn't, it is one scenario that you've knocked the bearings out of the new turbo which will get the seals at the same time and then you're back where you started. You say it ran 3 minutes and then started doing the same thing again so it must have cured it for 3 minutes then? The drain tube is/was not restricted?
Is there considerable venting out the draft pipe from the base engine? Is there any venting from that pipe? If the draft tube (Crankcase vent) is choked it will do the same thing, the pipe comes off a valve cover and drops into the belly pan, if the pan is full of litter and dirt it could be blocked, will allow the crankcase to pressurize. Turbos do not have conventional seals like a wheel bearing and do not have bearings as a true bearing but floating bushings, hard to auto destruct these in three minutes without something else wrong.
