1982 vintage, cannot get pin out to move on saddle,any ideas???
the lock pin is applied with air and spring pressure make sure that air is removed from spring side and is directed to the pin side when you move the index control lever. check that the cylinder seals are OK by listening for air escaping in right hand console. Also check your air pressure is correct. A common problem on these old machines is the pin jams in the frame. undo the two mounting bolts on the cylinder operate the controls until there is no load on side shift cylinder and then use a drift and see if you can move pin back towards cab Regards Mark 250
