I have a 236b HEN04392, its got some problems im slowly fixing, next up is the fuel gauge, the needle just bounces around, where is the fuel sending unit located?
It's under the plate circled in the illustration below. There should be a 2-pin electrical connector very close to it. Try unplugging the connector and install a jumper wire between the pins on the machine side of the wiring. What happens to the fuel gauge reading when you do that.?
that is the motor compartment? when im at the shop next i will look for that plate
It is the engine compartment. There is no clear information regarding the location of the fuel level sender. Most images show it being under the plate on the left, a few show it being under the plate on the right. You may have to look at both locations.
