replaced o-rings on left joystick cat 247b, now the skidsteer wont move. makes back-up alarm noise but no movement at all
Sounds like you may not have put it back together correctly. Any pieces left over?
no pieces left over. took bolt out of bottom to spread open. replaced o rings and put it back together. there's oil going all the way to the joystick but not getting any reaction.
Have you checked your oil level Sorry no expert on these, but figure if I posted something someone else would help. I do know they have several interlock switches. might have unplugged one
Did you disconnect any of the pilot lines when you resealed the joystick..?
yes there is hyd oil in it. bucket arms move and all safety switches are working
NIGE, yes i did release the lines on the bottom of the joystick assembly
Based on the only dumb question is the one you don't ask, is there any chance you got the pilot lines back on wrong..? What's the S/N prefix of the machine, MTL..? If so is the S/N above or below 5075..?
all lines were color marked before taking off

OK, that answers that question ............. It would appear that something's not right inside the control valve, unless there is the possibility that the valve can be installed 180 degrees out of position. If you would like the D&A procedure plus the Parts Listing in order to help you identify if something is amiss inside the valve just send me a PM with your machine S/N and your email address.
