Hi, I'm at that point in a track loader life span where rollers are failing pretty frequently. This ASV track style is new to me, and a real pain to get the tracks on and off. Anyone know of any quick tips??? or long drawn out tips?? The track change on a 953 is almost easier... Cant ever get enough tension backed off to put the front roller back on without worrying about damaging the seal. To me it is just ridiculous that you have to remove the main idler just to take off a track, then worrying about bearing/seal damage??? Come on! If CAT is listening, make the track a little taller/longer and fit a bit more HP and you have a winner, but this ish is for the birds... Somebody, save me some headaches !?!?!?
