Good morning, I just purchased a new to me 2018 Cat 259D with a loose track, long story short I found that the track adjuster is leaking grease at the front near the idler arm. It looks like the seals are shot. I am new to working on equipment and was wonder if anyone has the steps on how to replace these seals. Thanks in advance.
Remove #3 and #5. Push idler assembly inwards until it stops. Removed track. Slide idler assembly out. Grab adjust cylinder rod and twist & pull until it comes out. Clean up and replace seals.
