My quick detach pins on my 277c are worn out and letting the bucket flop around. I'm trying to figure out how to replace these any help will be appreciated.
Are you sure it's the pins? It could be the mount on the bucket or attachment. Our bucket mount's have to be rebuilt once a yr.
Agreed. Those pins are hardened and have a tapered end to wedge into the hole on the bucket or tool. If the pin is extending fully so the cam goes over center, the tapered side of the pin should contact the bucket and hold it tight. Take a look at the rectangular hole in the bucket and see if it is bent, which can be caused by repeated hits from the pin not being aligned with the hole when it is engaged. A buildup of dirt between the bucket and coupler can prevent the bucket from seating fully causing this.
