I have a Cat 287b that needs bogie wheels and axles replaced. I really need advice on which brand axle assemblies are best and what configuration to use. Single bearing, double bearing, or Bair axles. How about bogie wheels? Are aluminum better? DuroForce? I am in Florida so it is either sand or mud and sometimes clay.
