The wiring for my backup camera got burnt and is not working. I should be able to cut and splice the wires back together correct?
You might be able to put a deutsch splice in it, but it also may add too much resistance to the video signal and it might not work. A butt splice will definitely add too much resistance to the circuit. You’ll probably have to put a new camera harness on it.
