Hello would anyone have an idea how i could add a chip to manipulate the 1 axes of the drive joystick? i checked with my meter and the signal wire has 1.0 to 3.9 volts when i move joystick back and forth so i bought a variable volt chip thinking that should work good to hook that in but it just makes a joystick axis current below normal alarm. i use this machine to creep long distances
Your joystick position sensors are of the PWM type, not variable voltage. To McGiver the signals from them would require an oscilloscope or a similar type of square-wave signal generator AFAIK. How (and where) are you measuring the 1.0-3.9V..? See this thread ..... HeavyEquipmentForums
Thanks for your quick response do u think this baord would work? I measured that that from the ground to the signal wire https://www.amazon.ca/Yosoo-Control..._1_10?keywords=pwm+out&qid=1573773291&sr=8-10
The frequency of the unit needs to operate at 500hz other wise a service code CID 2474will be logged
Are the "on" volts critical too?
I would say yes, because all the sensors are powered by a stabilized voltage from the ECM, and it’s not machine system voltage.
I take that back. The joysticks are fed with machine power from the key switch.
