I am having issues with the CAT 299D3 XE Compact Track Loader S/N BX901783. After 15 minutes of usage the CAT slows down and looses power. I then proceed to turn it off and start it on and then it continues as normal until around another 15 min. I get a message on screen with Aftertreatment #1 Intake Gas Sensor Heater Control Failure. When it was scanned we got back a Fault code J1939; 1239-FM 1 engine fuel leakage 1 - Data valid but below normal operating range. i checked around for leakage but dont see any. i replaced the fuel filter and air filters but issue continues. I was going to change the fuel rail pressure sensor but cat tells me they dont just sell the sensor. So i would have to buy the whole assembly part 458-9390 but its around $1300. anyone have any suggestion on what else to check or if am going to have to take that risk to buy the whole assembly? anyone know if i can use a fuel rail pressure sensor that might fit that part.
3223-12 - Aftertreatment #1 Intake Gas Sensor Heater Control : Failure. Troubleshooting is "NOx Sensor - Test". See the attachment. It appears from the troubleshooting that if there are no other NOx sensor Codes apart from the 3223-12 then the recommended fix is to replace the NOx sensor. You also asked about 1239-1. To be clear this is internal fuel leakge, not external, so you won't see any signs on an inspection.
