howdy yall, I got a 2025 cat 305 with a thumb and the rocker switch for the thumb operates opposite compared to how our other excavators are set up. I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on what is the easiest way to switch the direction of the switch to open/close the thumb. I figured I’d start here before swapping hoses, wires etc. thanks!
Not a lot of help. Got a machine Serial Number.? It will help track down an electrical schematic. You say it's a "rocker switch". Do you mean a thumbwheel roller..? Post a photo.
I swapped the “implement” wires that go to the hydraulics and it solved my problem. Thanks!
