Cat 312 first model calibration

Does any one know how to stop the calibration mode after the governor motor has been calibrated? Its a 96 yr model.

    If it is cat 312 excavator. Press and hold service 1 key atleast for two seconds or until the engine speed dial position is shown on the charactor display. Calibration mode can also be exited by turning the key start switch to the off position.
