I bought a used turbo off ebay off a cat C7 3126 to someday but in my project truck. I got the turbo and come to find out there is no waste gate on it. The guy that i bought it from has been no help and all that i know about it is that its off a 00 frightliner XB So i called around to the local frightliner stores and they need the last 6 of the vin :Banghead:Banghead which i dont have so if any one knows a part number or where i can find a waste gate it would be much appreciated Thanks Tom
If it's a CAT turbo you are pretty much out of luck. They don't service the wastegates seperately. That being said, the turbo's are probably Garret or Borg Warner parts, might have to get in touch with a vendor for those, giving them any numbers found on the center section.
