CAT 312BL will not climb hills have to use bucket. All other functions work great. Pressure on port 2 of pump when tested is 4500psi with both levers in the forward position and track locked. The wierd thing is the right track only shows 1000psi by itself at the same test port and the left track shows 3300psi at the same port. I am getting a new pressure relief valve to set to 5000psi like the book says but cant believe that will fix the problem. Any help will be appreciated.
Reseal the swivel, cheap and easy.
We are having the same issue with our 312BL. Hopefully you find a solution.
Here is what you do. Take it for a drive untill the hyd oil temp is up to 3 bars on dash, then try to turn in a circle. If you can still drive swivel is good if you can't head for the shop and swap the swivel. Later Bob
