Hi all, I ahave a problem with a Cat 320DL serial number PHX01492 running hot. I seems like the engine fan is not coming on. The machine runs hot and de-rates and goes back to idle. What controls the fan and is there a way to test it? Thanks.
Does your machine have the hydraulic motor turning the fan? Will it reverse the direction of air flow? Do you have any fault codes showing on the monitor panel? The video provide below shows how to get into the monitor panel diagnostics. Good Luck.
