2012 CAT 329 EL Excavator Serial #: CAT329ETPLW00668 After running awhile if you put the safety lever down and then put it back up, most of the time it will not unlock the hydraulics. But if you leave it down for about 10 minutes and put it back up it may work. Any help would be appreciated.
I have seen the solenoid fail as you described more than once on these machines. Looks like yours is accessed via the cover under the machine. 121-1491 is part number
Before chasing that part, physically, read the fault codes and events. If it's the solenoid, there'll be a code.
Thank y’all for the help. the wires on the solenoid were burnt and touching, so I replaced the solenoid to be safe and cut out and replacement the melted bare wires, Thanks for the advice and telling me where to look
