I have a Pete with a3306 C motor and I have the motor stripped down ready to do a in chassi rebuild what is the easiest way to remove the liners? Thanks in advance for any and all help John
The manual calls for a liner puller. Liners come out complete with pistons which are removed once liners are out.
The easiest way is to push the Pistons out and then use a liner puller to pull the liner. If you don't have one you can use a small hydraulic jack and some blocking to push them out from the bottom. If you do it this way I would recommend chaining the axle to the frame so you you don't get the truck lifting up as much.
